Adam and Randi's Wedding at Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya

On June 14, 2026, Adam and Randi said "I do" at Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya, surrounded by 46 of their favorite people. We loved every part of planning this one (Adam is Sarah’ s son!), and Randi's feedback afterward summed it up best: the week was more enjoyable because she didn't have to stress.

An intimate ceremony at Palms Beach

The ceremony took place at the resort's Palms Beach location, which felt intimate and set apart from the rest of the resort. The floral arch was stunning, and the setting gave the whole group the feeling of having the beach to themselves.

A welcome cocktail and a gazebo reception

The celebration kicked off with a welcome cocktail at the Hacienda Terrace, an easy way for guests to arrive, settle in, and start the week together. After the ceremony, everyone moved to the gazebo for the reception.

Fer made it effortless

The resort's wedding coordinator, Fer, was fabulous, and the event staff were wonderful and attentive from start to finish. Randi says Fer was so helpful. She handled everything, so Randi and Adam could simply enjoy it.

One thing Randi especially loved was not having to set up or take anything down. It was all done for them, and done perfectly. Not carrying those stresses made the whole experience more enjoyable.

24 rooms and a pool that felt private

The group filled 24 rooms across Deluxe Junior Suites, Silver Deluxe Junior Suites, and Golden Junior Suites. Both sets of parents stayed in Golden Swim Up Junior Suites.

One of the best surprises was the Golden Pool. It felt private, and the group ended up gathering there again and again throughout the week, including a few after-party swims.

Perks that come from booking as a group

Through our resort relationships and the concessions earned from the rooms their guests booked, including an air credit, room comps and 2 room upgrades. Group perks like this are one of the biggest advantages of planning a destination wedding with an advisor, and they add up quickly.

Keeping 46 guests on the same page

With a group this size, clear communication makes all the difference. For Adam and Randi, we:

  • Built a private wedding website with all the details in one place

  • Created a guest booking website so guests could easily submit their booking requests

  • Held two departure review Zoom sessions, so everyone felt comfortable with the plans and ready to travel

  • Arranged private roundtrip airport transfers for everyone, so guests were met on arrival and taken straight to the resort.
